關于THK-LM翻滾導軌，常常備有規范的專用彈性護罩。另外THK也制作滾珠螺桿和滾珠花鍵等其他直線運動體系的專用彈性護罩。直線運動體系有必要挑選可以滿意運用環境懇求的原料。為了可以在像易蝕性等這些苛求的環境中運用,某些直線運動體系可以運用馬氏體不銹鋼。（馬氏體不銹鋼可以運用于下列類型的 LM翻滾導軌∶SSR、SHW、SRS、HSR、SR、HRW、RSR、RSR-Z、RSH、RSH-Z和HR型。）直線運動體系的LM軌跡和軸的外表可以因防銹或審美之意圖進行外表處置。THK供給了THK-AP處置,這是對準直線運動體系的外表處置辦法。大致上有3種類型的THK-AP處置辦法∶ AP-HC、AP-C和AP-CF。
