由于滾珠絲杠副及其支撐系統在長期的使用中難免會產生磨損間隙,這會直接影響數控機床的傳動精度及剛性,一般故障的現象是反向間隙大、定位精度不穩定等問題。故障的原因可能是滾珠絲杠支撐軸承磨損或軸承預加負荷墊圈配的不合適、滾珠絲杠雙螺母副產生間隙、滾珠磨損這三種。
